Default I won a week with a personal trainer...

My first day was supposed to be last Monday, but I put it off for personal reasons...

Now it's today in an hour and I'm freaking out.

I'm going to be the fattest person at the gym, and they're all going to stare and probably be wondering why I even bother.

Soooo nervous. I'm trying to not let when others think influence me, but gahh. The bloody place is called "planet fitness" how could I NOT be nervous?

On a side note, I accomplished my first mini goal today by officially losing ten pounds...in a WEEK! I'm like those people on the commercials where in the teeny tiny writing at the bottom it says, "results not typical". ha.
Hopefully I can keep it up. I was hoping for 5 this week, 10 is amazing.

OMG NERVESSSSSSSSSSSSS

Does anyone else get like this when going to the gym/running in public etc.?

You should be excited! I would love to have a personal trainer for a week! You can take what he teaches you and use that to reach the next goal you want and the next and so on. Congrats on 10 lbs in a week! That's super exciting!

I wish you the best of luck! Have fun and don't worry too much about it.

Thanks!
I know I'm being silly about it, and I really am VERY excited to see him, I'm just not excited about being the fattest person there, or sweating in front of someone else, or having someone else know my deep not-so-dark secret (I'm fat rofl)

I used to think all the time that thin people in the gym would think that I didn't belong there. Then I realized that if any of us should be in the gym, it's me! I need the gym more than they do!

Congratulations on your 10 lb loss, that's great!

Awesome your from Victoria. I stayed at a house overlooking the ocean in Sooke. What an amazing area and perfect for walks and bike riding. Enjoy your new journey and have fun!!

It TOTALLY wasn't as bad as i was freaking out about.
He was really nice and I went at the perfect time so it was super calm.
I did 20 minutes on the elliptical machine "up hill" on level 8 at a speed of between 4 and 6....which probably means nothing to most, if not all of you...but apparently it's AWESOME that I was able to do that, and he was impressed.
Not gonna lie, I almost died rofl but I did it, and I'm sooo proud of myself.
Even went for a 45 minute fast-walk with 2phat a couple hours later
Look out world, I'm on my wayyyyyyyy!
