This doesn't happen often but this morning I weighed 218.00 and when I got on the scale before bed I was 217.4 Heck Yes. Really hoping I breeze through the teens. The twenty's were pretty easy and the 30's were hard. Can't wait till I am only 10lbs or less from onderland.

I'm am totally plateau'd... I've been bouncing between 215 and 218 for a month. Have been good with exercise, except for the 4 days I was sick, but I'm working on a huge project-- I think it's stress and too much chair time....

I'm trying to take the long view-- project has to be done within a few days, then I'm going to shake EVERYTHING UP.

My trainer says stress can play a major role in losing weight. That's one of the first things he told me when we started working together, that there is a chemical in our brains called cortisol. If we stress out our bodies release to much of this chemical and it can prevent you from losing weight. So he said try not to stress about things and take a yoga or pilates class. Another really important thing he said was to make sure you always aim for 8 hours of sleep, it effects cortisol too, he said try to get no more than 8, and not less than 8 because 8 is supposedly the magic number lol. So it probably is stress so don't stress over that lol, try to relax and think about how far you have come and take it easy and you should see the lbs come off again.

That's interesting Kayhm. I've totally been thinking that I'm plateau'd due to stress. I am UBER stressed right now-- it's unavoidable, I have something really big on my plate. That's why I decided to just stick with my eating plan and exercise and really not worry about the scale until I'm done, then start to shake stuff up again. That's the nice thing about having been at this for almost a year. I'm learning patience.

This is awesome! I love the motivation here! I had a baby 7 MONTHS AGO and I STILL can't get out of my maternity pants! I'm back to my usual shirts, but the mushroom top from my old jeans is ridiculous. I'm fluctuating between 210-211 right not and want to be 199 by April 1. Don't know if that's possible, but I just started this 4-5 days ago and have been doing great with sticking to it. I can't wait to follow y'all and watch the progress! Keep it up!!

I am so anxious to be a part of this group. I keep bouncing between 224-226 and it's killing me. Well, no, like ubergirl, I've been doing a bunch of back to back 12 hr shifts, at night, while my kids are on spring break so I'm guessing once they get back to school on monday and I can start getting normal sleep again, the weight will start heading south again. For me, sleep is a HUGE need for successful weight loss, otherwise my body never gets to reset itself and let go of some of the stuff its hanging on, never know when I may go without sleep again and it may need that extra fat storage ~eyeroll~

Okay! No posts lately?? What's up fellow TEEN-ERS? I can barely say I am even in the teens...the number 219 is there and then it goes up to 222. Of course I have been obsessed with the scale lately. I have been stepping on it, it seems, ALL THE TIME! What to do? What to do? I know what I need to do. the question is...will I? Stay tuned for more TEEN Drama!

Hi Teeners--

I've been kind of slack about posting. This month as been the worst/weirdest ever, but I'm trying just not to think about it and solider on.

Started the month at 218.4... stuck, stuck, then finally whooshed down to 214. Stayed there for 4 days and then bounced back to 218, then bounced up to 220-- now mind you, I had NOT been eating off plan. The only difference is that I really kicked up my exercise, and that I was sick for about a week.

Then about four days ago-- my water weight went through the roof. (I have a scale the measured body fat% and water weight along with regular weight..., also my legs were puffy.) I was trying to figure out why the water weight, and I figured it out. Ibuprofen. Turns out, it makes some people retain water big time. Meanwhile--my weight stayed at 218.

Then, last three days, weight dropped back down. This morning I was back to 214.

But here's the kicker!

At the beginning of the month my body fat percentage was 45%. Now it has dropped to 41%

So, I guess I've been building muscle all month and I still ended up with a net loss this month of 4 pounds, which is on target for me. But sheesh!
