Interesting take on "change"

  • I ran into an old friend today, she's the free-spirit, hippie-dippy type LOL Anyway, she hadn't seen me in years and was taken aback at how much weight I've lost, asked how I did it etc., and I told her "I did a lot of work on my MIND, changed a few things, improved a few things"

She said in all sincerity, "well, don't get too many things right this time around or you won't get reincarnated"

so there you go guys, let's not miss out on our chance to come back as an egyptian princess or something !
  • That's blooming hilarious!!! So, thinking about it... which way should I go? If I improve myself will I come back worse next time?? Or better?? Or have I lost the mark completley (probably!) hehe
  • If you improve yourself "too much" you have learned your lessons and you are done being a human...so then are either a spirit or go to heaven.
  • Forget Egyptian princess. If I'm coming back I want to be 5'10" with legs up to here and speak some romantic language like French or Italian. I also want straight hair!
  • Lol Lol
  • ROFL..I think I will take my chances.
  • hah!

While I was in India a friend of my boyfriend noticed some old scars of mine from my self mutilation years (which are way behind me, thank you very much) and told me that I need to respect my body better because Hindus apparently believe that we live 84,000 lives before we are reincarnated into our human bodies.... so it takes a lot of blood, sweat and tears to get here... i.e. don't treat something amazing like trash when you finally get it!

I keep it in my mind now when I think about food and health, too.
  • I totally agree
I find it hard sometimes to see how badly I treated my body especially not eating right
  • omgosh that is soooo funny! ROFLMAO!
