Default Down for the count..

I have somehow managed to catch H1N1 flu! Doctor says no exercising After about a week of not eating very much, I managed to gain weight... how people lose weight from not eating baffles me! I didn't ask him about dieting, but I can't imagine it would be a problem. I was told to make sure I'm having bread or pasta with some protein with all the pills they've given me, and to drink lots of water, juice and tea. But those were the only diet restrictions they advised me on.

I also can't go out! I've gone out 2 times this week, once to work before I realized I was so sick, and once to the doctor/pharmacy. I can't wait to see people again.. I am bored already!

Hang in there! I hope you feel better soon. Being sick sucks. Don't look at the scale. Our bodies hold on to EVERYTHING when we are sick. I would expect a big woosh when you feel better. Take it easy, make the best choices you can and hopefully you will be back to your old self soon.

My husband and I both had H1N1 about a month ago - it's terrible! We just ate a lot of soups and saltines. I managed to get down my usual amount of water, but my husband could only drink 7up.

Get plenty of rest and don't fret too much about diet for now. I hope you feel better soon - I know it was a relief when I was finally well enough to get out of the house!

Aw Aimee. Sorry to hear it. Please take good care of yourself, eat nutritiously and put weight loss on the back burner until you're feeling better.
