  • Do I get an award???

I don't order them and don't have them in the house, but right now they are LITTERING my workplace. Argh...temptation incarnate...
  • I hate those little demons.
  • LOL My daughter used to come home with a shopping bag full of chocolate bars to sell for her school fund raiser. I got so fed up one year, I bought them all myself, and then returned them to the porincipal , so I wouldn't have them hanging around.
  • I bought some GS cookies but I donated them to our troops, so I never had to actually see them. Win-win, since I'm a former GS and would feel bad not supporting them, and glad to know our servicemen and women get a treat!

  • Now you have to earn it! Keep on resisting!
  • Calluna, I hear by award you with the prestigious 2010 "This Girl Has Her Priorities Straight Medal" *Handing you a gold plated Girl Scout cookie on a pretty colored ribbon a la Olympic Gold Medal* Congratulations, Calluna!!!

Ah! Yours was better than mine!! LOL
  • You ladies are a hoot! I changed my avatar to reflect my new, cherished 3FC award!
  • I think you deserve an award!

I bought 5 boxes...3 to send to my brother who is stationed in Germany and 2 I kept home (I've had 2 of the thank you berry much cookies & my DH/kids have ate everything else lol).
  • I bought some cookies...and then as soon as I got them...i took them to work...they were gone before I got to work the next morning. I am a former GS, and I know about operation cookie drop, but when I pre-ordered them I didn't think about it. Oh well, I didn't eat any of them, so I guess that's the important part.
  • That is very much the important part!
  • not eating is absolutely the point!! Donating them to the troops instead of my co-workers was just a nice bonus, but otherwise, I would have done the same thing. One of my co-workers is a young guy who works out a lot and he is always the happy recipient of the stuff I don't want to eat! lol!

I was so happy to see that option on the form for my friend's daughter. I wanted to support her but didn't want a bunch of cookies in my house. I donated a few boxes to the troops (I just wish we got to pick - hopefully they give them good ones like thin mints or tagalongs and not the plain ones!) and one box each for hubby and I to take into work. No cookies in this house!
  • mandalinn82 That was a great looking award! And well deserved by calluna! WTG!
  • I can resist the ordering part as I work from my home so no one to ask me to place and order. But once the GS set up outside the grocery stores to sell cookies they already have right there, I'm going to have to be very strong.
