(you have to be a classic Broadway show tunes person to get the reference though, which most people probably aren't)
How about "April-Spring Forth for daily weigh ins"?

I am loving this thread and definitely want to be a part of it next month and the next and the next. I find it very motivating to remember to weigh in daily, be accountable positive or negative for movement of the scale.

It also provides me with a daily reminder that I am on a quest to get healthy!! Now if I could just get the scale moving down a little quicker!! But that would entail making more drastic changes than I am ready for at this time.

I don't want to scare myself off with a big drastic change in either exercise or eating. I sabotage myself at the slightest provocation. I am more likely to be successful if the lifestyle changes become 2nd nature by dribs and drabs not something that happens overnight. I've come to know myself and am honest that there is some little part of my subconscious that wants me to be fat, fatter, fattest! That part of me would only be satisfied if I were the next person featured on A&E "900 lb woman". Little changes for me over a long time trick my subconscious into not freaking out!!

I love this thread as well!

I get down sometimes when I see I keep bouncing around the same pounds, but then I realize, there's other people doing the EXACT SAME THING . Such a relief.

I'm glad that so many people are finding this thread helpful - it's definitely been a big help for me too. I use the Points challenge and that also helps with accountability but the daily weigh in puts a different wrinkle on it. It's also been informational for me to see my patterns and be able to think about what I did or didn't do in connection with what the scale does. I know I don't have direct control, but sometimes there are things such as eating commercially prepared foods with lots of sodium that you do see the impact of.

back to 226, yay!!! I am still counting the 7+ lbs I've lost in the past couple of weeks, but this gets me back to the number that was on my old scale, so now I'm back to losing "new weight" meaning that I'm getting back down into numbers I haven't seen yet.

Now I can really focus on getting into the 2-teens!

WooHoo! The extra water and daily exercise is working! I am down 1/2 lb this morning! Even though it isn't much, I think of it as taking 2 sticks of butter off of my body somewhere...now where would I like those 2 sticks removed from! lol
How is everyone else doing??? Let's keep Marching Forward in this journey!!

Saks, that's the attitude! LOL! I love thinking of my weight in terms of butter...or anything that weighs as much as I have lost. It's very motivational to keep getting it off. I'd like a few sticks removed from my thighs and belly please.

I think the water weight is still coming off me. Down just a bit today. But after HIIT I either gain a pound or lose a pound the day after. I haven't figured it out quite yet. I don't think my body has any kind of pattern for loss at all!! The only thing that is predictable is that it is totally unpredictable.

I am down 1.4 pounds since yesterday and 3lbs in the first week of using my gowear fit. I love looking at how many calories I am burning so I can keep around my 1000 calorie deficit and I get to eat a lot more calories than I thought I would.

I hope it's okay to join nearly half-way into March. I need this kind of daily accountability. I've been struggling and off plan for a number of weeks. I'm back on the wagon and ready to go!

Welcome Crushed! I'm really enjoying this thread. I think a couple of us are. I like the log of it. It's the first thing I think of in the morning, and I like to look back at how I did. Yes, I'm up today, but look at where I was at the beginning of the month. That kind of thing.

Saksn - Thanks! It's my fur-baby, Lilith. Not the best pic of her but the only thing I had on my computer here at work.

As for WI today... I sorta didn't. And by sorta I mean I didn't at all. I think I'm up, I feel it, but I slept in a little too late this morning. I didn't drink as much water as I'd have liked to and I'm pretty sure I had too much sodium yesterday after work. Hm. Today's been better, and tonight will be fine because I have lots of running around to do to keep me from all the junk at home. I also need to hardcore clean my bathroom. That always takes up a lot of time since I'm such a freak about how I clean it. Exercise break today though. Ooookay. Rambling.
