Just wondering what programs everyone is on??

I am just wondering what types of programs everyone else is on?
I'm doing the slim 4 life (slimgenics) program,
Anyone else?

FitGirlyGirl 02-19-2010 12:36 AM

I'm calorie counting with the body bugg

PeanutsMom704 02-19-2010 12:47 AM

another calorie counter, and starting next week, it will be with a Gowear Fit.

DisgruntledOne 02-19-2010 01:09 AM

Right now I am calorie counting. In the past I did the old as in two years ago weight watcher program. I like them both and as weird as it seems to say I find calorie counting easier cuz I only keep track of calories not fat and fiber like WW was doing. I feel silly saying that cuz I have to look up the calories anyway why is it so hard to look at the fat and fiber columns while I'm there!?!?!?!

Heavenlymom 02-19-2010 01:11 AM

I bet calorie counting is easier. Eating all this protein is killing me lol.

kuhrisuh 02-19-2010 01:28 AM

I guess I'll go ahead and reply to all of your threads lol...

I count calories, too. I like it because there's not really anything I CAN'T eat as long as it fits into my daily calories! :)

KellyGrrl 02-19-2010 01:33 AM

I do the crossfit diet.

cfmama 02-19-2010 01:54 AM

calorie counting and exercise.

Mariella 02-19-2010 04:32 AM

Calorie counting - with the focus on getting most of my calories from filling, whole foods and avoiding processed foods as much as possible.

:)

TJFitnessDiva 02-19-2010 06:23 AM

Weight watchers here! :D

katkitten 02-19-2010 06:26 AM

marigrace 02-19-2010 07:00 AM

I count Calories, and eat about 99% whole foods...mostly low glycemic.

I calorie count too because I need the freedom (of course I still won't allow myself to eat junk food, but if I ever cave in to my urges it's nice knowing it won't kill my plan, lol). :)

losermom 02-19-2010 07:04 AM

I have done calorie counting on and off so that I learned proper portions/amounts. Currently I've moved towards a more mindful eating program focusing on unprocessed foods. I also ride my recumbent exercise bike and do weight training.

time2lose 02-19-2010 08:19 AM

Calorie counting

LizR 02-19-2010 08:21 AM

I am on Wonderslim which is similar to medifast but cheaper. I use Hungry Girl recipes for many of my meals. For exercise I do a stair stepper and take walks with my kids.

LesliesMom 02-19-2010 08:30 AM

I calorie count and use my Fitbit. I love my fitbit. It wasn't overly expensive and there is no monthly fee to use their site. 13 pounds since December 28th, slow and steady, I WILL do it.

I'm a Weight Watchers Gal!

Trazey34 02-19-2010 09:02 AM

I'm a calorie counter here! For the longest time I thought if I PAID someone for my weight loss, it would HAVE to happen hahahah NOT SO MUCH ;) I admit i'm not rabid about what I eat like so many of our successful posters, where every single food item is 100% nutritious and good for you. I've fought the "all or nothing" mentality all my adult life and I've finally found a balance I can live with. I can't say "I will never eat mcdonald's again" or I'll eat 3 big macs ina row LOL But I CAN say "i can have a happy meal one weekend a month" and live with that happily :D

jigglefree 02-19-2010 09:13 AM

Calorie Counting. It's easy and flexible. I workout almost everyday, cardio and weight lifting. Some days I do 30 Day Shred or Upside Down Abs and Cardioke.

Natoshial 02-19-2010 09:20 AM

Hi Everyone!!! I use meal replacements. I am using Protein shakes, Lean Cuisine, Carnation Instant Breakfast, and Slim Fast. Whatever I am in the mood for that particular day. I also add three healthy snacks a day and a well balanced Dinner. Exercise is Pilates several times a week.

This goes for me as well, though depending on your definition, maybe 95% whole food. ;) I'm not opposed to eating out now and then.

brandijune44 02-19-2010 12:49 PM

I do Weight Watchers and also try to focus on whole foods. My goal is to get in at least 60 minutes of exercise in 6 days a week (usually elliptical/treadmill or walking outside).

jkinboston89 02-19-2010 03:25 PM

Another calorie counter and exerciser here. I love the flexibility of calorie counting but I do also focus on eating whole foods about 90% of the time. :)

Lori Bell 02-19-2010 04:30 PM

I'm a calorie counter because it works, it's easy, and most importantly it's FREE! I love free.

ChrissyBean 02-19-2010 04:38 PM

Eating sensibly and exercising my boohookus off.

Edited to add that for exercise I go to a Zumba class 1-3x a week, depending on my work schedule (I'm on a 2 week rotating sched.). The days that I don't go to Zumba I hit the treadmill for an hour. On weekends I either snowshoe or x-country ski. DH drags me swimming sometimes.

roxmysox 02-19-2010 05:38 PM

Ww

Lyn2007 02-19-2010 06:48 PM

Calorie counting and exercise. Although, I have been counting calories for most of two and a half years now, and I am ready for a change. I am going to try a meal replacement program next week just to get a friggen' break from food brain.

astrophe 02-19-2010 10:07 PM

using fitday for calorie counting

Using fit bit and a HRM for workouts when i remember to put them on.

Eating low gi / veg friendly

A.

duckyyellowfeet 02-19-2010 10:39 PM

Weight Watchers...their "Winning Points" system, to be more precise. I'm also attempting to focus on reducing the amount of processed foods.

Idealmuse 02-19-2010 11:01 PM

Exercise, Calorie Counting... I do use a bodybugg but i don't really consider it a "program" as such. Just makes tracking the above easier.

rockinrobin 02-20-2010 12:42 AM

Another calorie counter here as it's built in accountability and portion control. That would be calorie counting COMBINED with a *mostly* whole foods diet (veggies, low fat proteins, fruits) - since it provides optimal nutrition, filling power and volume, while avoiding for the *most part*, added sugars, flour, pasta, rice...
