Default Biggest Loser

My local radio station, Kiss 107.1 FM Cincinnati OH, is having their very own Biggest Loser contest. All you had to do was submit a picture of yourself, and tell them why they should choose you. I decided to go ahead and give it a shot. I always start out eating healthy lose 10-15lbs then I get off track. I am a full-time college student (major: Elementary Education), a part-time bank employee, a mother, a wife (close enough lol) point: I am a busy person. I feel like I just need that extra push. I submitted my picture and made my case on why they should choose me.

GUESS WHAT

THEY CHOOSE ME!!!!! Out of who knows how many people I am one of their 6 contestants. One of which is a staff member from Kiss (the local radio station).

Tomorrow I go on air to be introduced to the 500,000 who tune in to Kiss every morning. They are going to introduce me to the Tri-state. I am so excited about this opportunity. I am truely blessed. I feel like I have to do well, because I am representing my state (most if not all of them are from Ohio, I am from Kentucky), I am representing my job, my college, teachers, college moms, young moms. So I feel like I need to take this and run with it, some people didn't get this opportunity and for me to be choosen is amazing.

I am still really nervous though. But I am going to not try to care what anyone thinks. If anyone says anything mean or negative too me. Atleast I am doing something about it!!!!!

A local man named Anthony Reed is going to be our personal coach throughout this experience. Anthony has lost almost 400lbs himself, so to be coached from someone that has been there is amazing!!!!!! I hope for once I do this 110% for me, I made poor decisions in high school and was down to 135lbs, but the only reason I was ever that small is because I was worried what everyone else thought. Now I have to do it for me.

There was a clip about this on 9 news last night! I skipped through it. There was a little clip about a man who'd lost 400 lbs who is now helping folks in the tri-state lose weight. Cool! I'm going to go back through my DVR and watch it tonight.

I'll cheer you on! I'm in the area.

That is awesome! I am currently part of a Biggest Loser being held by the city of Barrie ( a small city north of Toronto in Canada.) It is amazing Kaym - you will love it. I have lost 11lbs in the first two weeks of it - it is very motivational but fun at the same time.

With all the tools I am being handed, and the amazing support I am going to be getting throughout the Tri-state, my family, friends, and 3fatchicks, their is no reason I shouldn't be able to do this. I am so excited. Support really is the key. I feel so much more motivated. Thanks for your guys support, it means so much. I have to blog about my experiences 3-4 a week for the show. So I will keep you guys updated when I do so.

Eliana- Where in the area are you? Thanks for the support girl!!!! I appreciate it a lot.
