I started giggling today when I realized that I had lost a bucket of cat litter. I have to lug the things around at home to change the box out, and usually they are 27 or 28 lbs. So that connected, and I started to laugh even while I did a happy dance.
I remember someone else writing about having lost a vacuum cleaner a while back. So, here's the question: what silly or strange object are you not carrying around anymore? Large or small, it doesn't matter.
Years ago, I got down to 179lbs (having lost 40) My daughter was 3 or 4, I remember thinking I lost the equivalent to a good sized small child.
Can I just say...when I saw the title of the thread I immediately thought of the urban legend of the really obese lady (800 lbs rings a bell) going to the ER for some reason and the Drs. found a tv remote, $4.00 in change, a cell phone amongst her folds. LOL I don't think that's possible actually but she lost a phone, tv remote, $$, etc.

Well, I've lost a lot more than my 7yr old daughter now lol. I realised when I had lost just over 50lbs that she probably weighed about that, so out came the scales and it was confirmed, I'd lost my daughter! lol
I've lost a box of clay. As a former art student, this is particularly significant to me. I always had to park illegally to run my heavy a** box of clay into the building because I couldn't carry it all the way from the parking deck (I tried once, I had to stop and set it down like 5 times).
My 5 year old weighs ~39 lbs, so that's been a huge target for me. When I pick him up now, I can't believe that I was carrying around even close to that amount of extra weight.
Of course, it is a moving target because he has gone up a little but since I started, but I get to the point where I've lost his current weight or more, that will be a huge thing for me and amazing to have that physical reminder of just how much is gone every time I pick him up.
