Well, I did it! I tried day one of the C25K program. It was kind of a pain because I couldn't figure out how to program my treadmill to the time/pace changes... I'm not sure there is a good way to do it.

I was definitely more tiring than my usual walking routine, and I slowed the pace of the walk intervals... but my heart rate did stay within the upper limits of my target range so it seemed doable.

But, one of my legs hurts a little, which never happens after walking.

I guess I'll have to see how I like it. Usually I do 45 minutes of walking with varied intervals... This was 20 minutes with a 5 minute warm-up...

But, hey, I'm SHOCKED that I've suddenly incorporated RUNNNING into my routine!

i miss running! ive been trying to get back into it with couch to 5k. i remember being younger when i first started taking running seriously and my first time out i did a mile. now im working up wayyyyy more slowly but it feels soo good.
