Rosinante sorry to hear about your unfortunate experience. Good thing you did a test run before you went. It could have been scary being alone in a foriegn country and being a bit tipsy. Hope you felt better the next day.

You did water the Pernod, didn't you?

Pernod is 40% alcohol by volume and, traditionally, you add water, five parts to one part Pernod.

At least it wasn't absinthe.
