I would imagine that almost everyone here has a story of some sort. You are not alone.
The fact is "they" will never get it, nor understand. We do not deserve such poor treatment, however, our past lifestyle choices made our bodies the way they are shaped now. All you can do is say, "next" and use your negative feelings in your workout. Get out the anger, frustration, and whatever else you are feeling....that is how you take your control back. Beating yourself up is truly wasted energy especially when we all could be changing it. Don't let the turkeys get you down. I'll never forget when my meighbor was walking around the block and someone threw mustard at her. People can be ignorant. That will never change. Sometimes I think they so it to project their own insecurities about themselves... Many hugs and feel better after a killer workout. |
Thanks everyone! I really appreciated all your replies, and it definitely helped me to feel less alone. It's hard to not hate myself sometimes. I need to remember i am still a beautiful person!

 In the famous words of Dr. Suess "Those who matter don't mind, and those who mind don't matter." Don't let them bring you down.
