I am truly shocked and deeply saddened by his death. He was such a weight loss success story. I hope his death wasn't painful. My heart goes out to his family and friends. He really didn't know how many lives he touched.
So sad. These sudden deaths are so hard, the grief and loss is the same , in addition you have to deal with the shock of the suddeness of it, I did enjoy reading his posts and wish his family and friends condolances at this time.
To his brother and other loved ones: I thought this dude from Fresno was truly incredible. Within the last week, prior to seeing this topic, I have related his story to two people in my life. One of them is a male relative who weighs around 400 lbs or so and is going to give it another shot.
On previous diets, and as recent as last year, I used to make jokes to my husband along the lines of -- if I were going to die, I'd just keep eating my fattening food. But now that I have lost over 100 lbs, I know what FresnoBeeDude must've known, too, even better than I: that becoming healthy is living life to the fullest.
He took an incredible journey, and he accomplished so much for one human being. FresnoBeeDude lived.
