Sorry I haven't posted in awhile. This past weekend I accomplished 2 important things. After several months of studying I took my personal trainer exam (will have the results in 2 weeks) on Saturday in San Jose. Sunday I completed my 1st marathon RUN. 2 goals: 1) Not to finish in last, and 2) to complete with 3 hrs. I have been training for this for the past 2 months. I have already decided that next year, I will train smarter (4 months) and participate in the full marathon.
My Stats: (not that I am anal, and made up this stuff, but by playing around at this link will show the different results)

Did not come in last, not overall, not by age group. Out of the 15 runners representing my town, I beat out 2 of them. Out of the 41 participants who were 36 years old, I did better then 7. It took me a minute to get to the start line, but even so, I still finished within 3 hrs.
Click here to see a video my brother captured for me as I approached the finish line. At one point I stopped, as I had crossed over the thing-amajig that scans your shoe for the chip for the time. I thought this was the end, when I looked up I saw the finish line ahead, I took off like a mofo!
I was "competing" against a few people during the run, kept on passing the same people as they were walking, they then passed me while walking, etc. Around the 10 mile mark, Elton John's Saturdays all right for fighting was on my radio. That was the oomph I needed. I took off, never looked back at those people, and just kept on going. I hope they bought toothpick to clean the dust outta there teeth!
I posted this on myspace yesterday, and then I remembered today that even though a few 3fc'ers are my friends, I wanted the rest of this community to hear about my experience.
Just another fitness goal achieved in this journey
