one fourth of the way there!

:carrot: I have lost a total of 25# since starting my new life change. That's 1/4 of the way there.

This is the point where I usually plateau and give up. I've been thinking alot about the progress I've made. REALLY been giving myself some credit for the work I've done.

In the past I'd give up and say I really hadn't made any progress with 'only' 25 pounds lost. It didn't seem like a very big deal, hardly any progress when I thought of where I needed to be.

Not anymore. Not giving up. Not believing that lie! I have made progress. 25# is significant. I feel better and this time I've made permanent changes I can live with for the rest of my life.

Thanks for being there for me and encouraging me. Thanks for sharing in my good news!

YAY! Twenty-five pounds is excellent. It's hard work to lose even ten...

I'm sure this is only the beginning. Way to work it!

25 pounds is EXTREMELY significant. That's about the point where I really started feeling a difference; where I could kinda start telling in my clothes and how I generally felt. So yeah, 25 IS a big deal and I'm so happy that you are recognizing that! Congratulations!

Fantastic.

Twenty five pounds is a significant milestone--we're sort of at the same starting weight--so, yeah, I'd say 25 lbs is significant. And they are pounds neither you nor I will ever see again. My weight loss slowed down significantly (but then I didn't stay on plan completely consistently, but that was my choice)--so STICK WITH IT!!

You will keep on losing only if you don't stop and you won't lose if you do stop--and if you stop losing, it's only for a short while--so DON"T STOP.

Never surrender. Never say die.

(OOps, got a bit carried away, there. Sometimes I think I type what I need to hear!)

Alana, I get you. I totally feel the support behind your post--thank you!

Thanks to all for the uplifting words.

Guess what???? I have actually lost 26 pounds!!!! Today is my 'formal' weigh in day, but I knew that I'd have to be out of the house so early and with plans for this evening as well, I didn't think I'd have time for a weigh in. So I weighed myself yesterday evening. I always weigh more in the evening but still showed a wt loss last night. Last night I was at 228 but I found myself waking up an extra hour early this morning so I thought what the heck--I'll weigh myself now.

Yep, I weigh less in the a.m. and I'm taking that extra pound off my signature wt tracker!

Woohoo! 26 # wt loss!!!!!

That is so awesome!!!

We seem to be chugging along at about the same rate! I started in July at 251, I'm hoping to be at 228ish tomarrow when this water weight is gone.

Well done! and 25lbs certainly is significant!
