Yesterday was gooood
It now being 4 weeks 2 days to Paris, aren't I so lucky, I buckled down yesterday.
I gave myself a very small calorie budget (in 4 figures tho), and I stuck to the absolute letter of it. It was tough, it was horrendous at some points but it was really good for me to get back into the habit of saying no. I won't stay with this low budget but it was really helpful, just to remind myself. The first 6 months this year were really quite easy most of the time, and I lapsed on that into toooo easy and therefore not remotely near Plan. I needed a reminder of how to say no. Believe me, by next week I'll be very happy to say yes to my normal budget! I'm not punishing myself, just in case anyone wondered, just re-training. So far so good. ("Lost" 3lbs over night. :dizzy: Er, yes. Hope to see sensible losses from hereon in. ) |
