Small Victory

  • Yesterday was my first day following WW at home after 7 months of neglect. I stayed in my points range, even though I was craving a midnight snack that I really didn't need last night. This morning it was great to wake up realizing that I ate healthy yesterday, and didn't gorge myself. I even swam for 10 minutes. And even though I knew it was too soon to weigh myself after only one day of dieting, I couldn't resist. And I lost 2 pounds Maybe it's just a natural fluctuation, but I'll be seeing real results soon, so it's ok.

Today I'll do 20 minutes of exercise, and tomorrow I'm running with my friends for 2 miles. I'm actually looking forward to it.
  • Stay within those points.Continue to resist eating while not hungry. Stay WITHIN those points. Don't worry about the scale. You abide by those 2 things and there will be MANY, MANY GIGANTIC victories ahead of you. Gigantic, incredible, rewarding, delightful PHENOMENAL victories.

And that right there is one of the biggest rewards. Scale, shmale. Eating well. Doing what's "right" Taking care of oneself. Being mature and responsible. Victory. Victory. Victory. And oh so rewarding.
  • One day, one meal, one bite after another you are becoming healthier and more fit by the minute. Great job!
  • Way to go! And jogging - I'm impressed!
