Fast Track Your Fat Loss article from Prevention

I thought this article, which outlines 10 minute cardio and strength training workouts you can work in throughout your day, was really good.

What do you think?

I just read the first page and will have to really give this some attention tonight. Thanks for posting.

It looks like this encourages 10 minute spots of exercise whenever you can fit it in. I am a big believer in short exercise spurts, not that I am saying don't exercise in 30, 60, or 90 minute sessions. I walk 10 or 15 minutes at least twice a day, fitting them in at work. When I don't do this, I can really tell a difference.

We all have busy schedules...and, let's face it, sometimes you have a day where you don't have the time, energy or fitness level to exercise 30 minutes at a time.

Speaking for myself, if I feel I HAVE to do 30 minutes at one shot, and I don't have time or energy...I used to not do anything. But if I tell myself that I have 10 minutes and have the energy for a 10 minute walk, I'll do that...and often that turns into more. And even if it doesn't, a 10 minute walk or 10 minutes of strength training is better than sitting on my duff bummed out that I don't have time or energy for 30 minutes of exercise.

My only gripe about this article is that it doesn't talk about or show modifications for the exercises to suit your fitness level or any injury issues you may have (e.g., I have a bad back and often have to modify exercises)
