As encouragement

I woke up after 6 hours' sleep (not been sleeping well due to emotional stress going on) and feeling rotten. Really horrible. Didn't want to face the day, much less the training session my team has this evening for the race we're running in October.

But somehow I managed to drag myself out of bed, scrape my hair back into a ponytail, throw a Walk At Home dvd into my laptop, and half an hour later I take my sweaty self into the shower. Now I feel lots better, and much less hungry.

Now if I can do that, so can everyone else :) Let's get to it!

Way to go!!

I have been making sure that all the kids toys are picked up in the livingroom every night before bed.. pushing the coffee table out of the way and planning to do a video the next morning... but it seems that the baby is up within 2 minutes of my hubby heading out the door to work... sigh. Maybe I should be setting my alarm early and exercising before I get him up and pack his lunch... but I just can't bring myself to do that yet.

You can take your time in building up that routine, though; so you could carry on as you are, tidying up before bed (I know how important that is for me), and then maybe just once or twice a week getting down to putting the video in.

Good for you, Salsa. So easy to just give up when we feel like that -- I know I'm guilty of it myself.

So awesome job for being strong enough to kick your own butt and get yourself moving!

I find morning workouts the best and they so help the stress. I missed mine this morning, hopefully this evening I'll take the boys for a walk.
