Default Have you registered?

Have any of you guys who have kept off 30 or more lbs for a year registered with the national weight control registry?

If not you should! I can't wait to be able to register myself!

Hey! What a timely reminder! I hit 155 last August and even though I am not quite back there, I have maintained >30 lbs. I just signed up.

I have to think about this. It seems like you should be at goal for a year. But by their criteria, I just became eligible July 30. That's fun to realize . I'm ambivalent, because I don't really feel like losing (which is what I was still doing during most of that time) is the same animal as maintaining. A lot of the behavior is the same, but the mental game is a bit different.

I applied a year after I hit goal. Like Meg, it was a gift to myself - something I looked forward to doing on my one year anniversary
