Took my measurements today

I started taking measurements November Fourth 2008 and I was around 350 lbs at that time. I SHOULD have taken them at my highest (377) but alas I did not. Today I compared my current measurements to my first ones taken with a loss of 100 lbs between the two sets.

Neck is now 15 from 17
Upper arms are now 14.75 from 20.5
Breasts are now 49 from 61
Waist is now 42.75 from 56
Hips are now 52 from 70 (eek!)
Thighs are now 22 from 31.5
Calves are now 16 from 20.75
wrists are now 6.5 from 7
ankles are now 9 from 10.25

I've lost TONS AND TONS of inches. I am so freaking pleased... even more so than seeing the scale going down. I'm having a hard time these days coming to terms with actually looking normal fat instead of 127 pounds MORE fat and this... this helps me :)

So a total complete non scale victory today AND my waist is only 4 inches larger than hubby's AND I only have 28 more lbs to go to weigh less than him!

Spectacular losses!

And on the pounds too - look, look, in one ounce more you'll only have double figures to lose! Amazing.
You're way more than half way done! Amazing.

I know what you mean about it being weird getting to 'normal fat'. I was just thinking yesterday that I could now participate in a conversation with 'normal women' about diets. If I really wanted to. Which I don't but at least I wouldn't now feel that I was so big as to be beyond the conversation.

That has to feel amazing - I wish I'd taken measurements or pictures or something a year ago before I started as well. You should be so proud of yourself!

Wow! 12 freaking inches on your waist and nearly six on your upper arms. Totally fantastic. What an awesome measure of your success.

That is great! Before you know it, you will have a smaller waist than you hubby.

It has been so wonderful to be on this journey with you. You add so much to the forum.
