Default Welcome, Finni/Sandie

Hi there, lady! I saw your post on Breeezie's introduction thread, but you deserve a thread of your own! LOL

You posted:

Hi, I'm a newbie too. Still haven't figured out how the heck to post wihtout it being a reply to somoen else....Help!

I'm 43, 3 grown kids, been with my partner for 27years so far.

I have battled weight all my life, but am now at the heaviest ever.
Not for long!! I don't wont the life I can see ahead of myself, so I'm getting of my *** and doing something about it. On that note, off to the garage to spend some intimate time with the treadmill!!!

Have a great day....

Sandie

I like your attitude, Sandie -- you are going to fit right in here at 100+! There are a lot of great people around to give you support and advice, but don't forget to check out the rest of the site, too. There are recipes and shopping tips and reviews of diets --- all sort of helpful info. (Did you see ChickieGirls answer to you in that other thread? See told you how to start a new thread!) In the meantime:

WELCOME TO THE BOARD!

Default Hey Numina and Sandi

Nice to read your replies!! I was beginning to think I was doing something wrong in terms of posting, but there you are! Feels good to be part of something bigger than me, and all with the same goals. Glad to be a part of this, and really glad to have found it. My first weighin tomorrow. I know I've lost some, just not sure how much, but that doesn't really worry me. It'll just mean some adjustment to my intake or output or both. I'm in this for the long haul.

Hey, I come from an eating disorder background (20 years ago), first anorexic, then bulimic. I just want to put that in the open, so that if anyone picks up obsession in my e-tone (lol) they can challenge me on it.

Having a freezing cold day in the down-under winter, but warm heart because of your replies.

Sandie
