Exercise ball?
I would like to get myself an exercise ball for my reward when I get to 230. I skipped my 235 reward casue I wanted to save up and get an exercise ball. I think they look fun and fun is something I would like to associate with exercise! I found a set on ebay that included a 65cm weider flex ball, but I can't find a weight limit for it. The seller responded that there is nothing on the box. So.. any advice in buying one- will most of them hold me at that weight?
Thanks for any help! |
Well, I was probably about 230 when we bought ours (just a cheapy from Sprawlmart). Quite honestly, you're not often balancing your full weight on them very much (I use mine for crunches and inner thigh exercises mostly) so you'd probably be fine. Why not try googling "exercise ball weight limit" and see what comes up.

I've been using exercise balls since well over 300 lbs. I bought mine at Dick's.

I bought a fairly cheap one at Target and I'm way over 230. I think you'll be fine.

I have a cheap one that I got at Target and a more expensive one that I got at sports authority. Both of them held me just fine when I was 315 pounds. I am at 264 now and haven't had any problems.
You should have no problems at all. |
Here's a website about exercise balls; it also states about your height. Hope this helps you!

Thanks for the help. Can't wait till I can get one.
I can hardly wrap my brain around the fact that I am looking forward to buying something exercise related!!! |
I am a chiropractic assistant and I sit on a ball at my desk. I am not very graceful so I have ended up on the floor a few times, but I love it.

I think your height matters in the size of ball you buy, but the weight isn't an issue.
