ok, so here is the update. I'm not sure what to think of it at all. Remember, from what i know, he was moving the day after I got my phone....here is what he said back to me.

I would just let it go for now, since he didn't ask any questions or anything that would keep the conversation going. But you should be proud you put yourself out there and tested the waters.

My two cents is that you should just leave it. But this is not on you at all -- he was absolutely, totally, and over-the-top confusing with his initial actions.
At least you'll know some of the stuff you can say/do in the future for when the guy is not so confusing!!
The last time I had a sales guy hit on me like that, it was when I joined a gym several years ago. He was all flirty the WHOLE time he was showing me around, asking when I was going to come back to exercise after I signed up and all that stuff, put his number in my phone and said he was going to call me to get me into the gym. Then he actually started calling to see when I was going to see him and stuff. We wound up dating for like 3 months.
