I did this over the weekend. I put aside one pair of size 26 jeans, one pair of 3x (26-28) shorts, a 4x (26-28) blouse, and a size 26 long sleeved tee shirt as a reminder of where I had been. These were put in a small rubbermaid tote and up they went on a shelf in the closet. I filled 5 trash bags full of clothes and off they went to charity. My bureaus are "mostly" empty too. It felt pretty darned good. Many of the items were hardly worn. I hope someone who needs them gets them.
I do have enough stuff in my current size, but I have *nothing* in a size smaller than I am wearing now. Nothing to wear if I go down a size. Could get scarey...hide the kids! ;) :D  |
:congrat: That is a great! I think I will do the same actually. The more I see those clothes, the more I think, well what if...but not anymore. I think I'll take them out of the house and take them to goodwill, because I will never allow myself to get this big again. Thanks!

How cool! I haven't done this myself. I was able to get some shirts and pants out that were too small last summer, but I can wear them this summer.
It's a good feeling. |
Congratulations on this big step and enjoy all the pretty new clothes that are to come!
