I average 108 ounces per day. All I drink is water; it has been this way for me for over a year now. At times I will have a hot decaf tea but that is only when I have a sore throat. No more diet sodas for me!

Do you not like the taste of water? I'm asking because I HATE drinking large quantities of water... BUT if I put a mint teabag or some fruity herbal tea in it than it's so much easier to drink large quantities :)

SuchAPrettyFace 05-12-2009 12:49 AM

320 ounces ;)

Question: Has drinking water all the time help you lose weight? I drink about 32 oz a day.

Rosinante 05-12-2009 02:59 AM

80 fluid ounces a day plus 50 fl oz black instant coffee/herb tea.

Like Couch I do a pee check and drink more there and then if it looks a bit dark.

Usually it's well spaced out during the day but if my work means I'm going to be far from facilities, my drinking is sometimes a bit concentrated into bursts.

I do think it's helped me lose weight. It's definitely helped with fluid retention.

It's kinda funny that the secret to getting rid of water retention is....more water! LOL Seriously though...I can tell a difference on the days I drink alot and the days I don't....

I drink 128 ounces per day...My dr told me to go by the color of my urine also.It should be clear.

I try to drink at least 135 oz a day. I have heard several times that you should do half your body weight.

lots, I'd say roughly 6 or 7 cups during the day and maybe, and 8 or so at night.

How do you water counters keep track? I find it a bit difficult. I usually drink from a pint glass or a water bottle, so roughly 50ml a pop. I lose count though! I find it tedious beyond belief to log all my glasses/bottles, and I find that I forget how much I have actually had.

I drink between 2 and 4 liters a day. I'm a teacher and stuck in a classroom for hours without a bathroom, so I can't drink much then. But, drinking water comes naturally to me. I drink it without having to think about it. It's the time in the classroom where I have to focus on not drinking too much. :?:

I use the same bottle throughout the day...I drink 4 of them which comes out to 120 oz. I have an aluminum bottle and a Brita filter pitcher...good for the environment, easy to keep track of.

That's what I need. I'm refilling 2-3 of the same water bottles per day. I hate the waste, though!
