I will also be visiting with my in-laws Fourth of July. Also, my baby's very FIRST birthday is July 12, so being a few pounds lighter would be a bonus. :D

I am going to go for broke...I think I am also going to take this challenge one more week, to his first birthday: 20 pounds. That is just over 2 pounds a week (if you go 9 weeks) or 2.5 pounds a week if I end at July 4th.

Start weight: 239
Goal Weight: 219


05/12: 239 (starting weight)
05/19: 236 (-3)
05/26: 234 (-2) *TOM, Hernia
06/02: 232 (-2) *weighing in a day early/surgery tomorrow
06/09: 227 (-5) *couldn't eat or drink much for 2 days

Okay, I'm in. I've been plateaued for months now, and I need to recommit to making progress. This is a great challenge. I'm setting weight goal at 10 lbs, but I'm with everyone else on the 50 hours of activity.

OMG girls! I need some support!

I got on the scale this morning and it said 237! I thought I was about 225...I am almost doubting the scale because I was JUST 225 like a month ago, seriously 12lbs?? added on? OMG My cloths are still fitting...WHAT THE ****!

Either way I hope I'm filled with alot of water weight because I'm watching ALL my calories as of TODAY and I'm working out every day as of TODAY! OMG I'm freaking out!

Hey Gaea, I have a digiatal scale, this morning I gained 50lbs in the last 24 hrs! I knew this was an error, but still seeing that number almost made me faint. Needless to say I need to get a new battery. If yours is digital, you may need to check yours.

Absolutely, ScarletMeShell (cute name!) because the more, the merrier! I like challenges because they let me focus on short-term goals and smallish amounts of weight loss instead of the sometimes overwhelming big number I want to eventually lose.

I hope you are finding the 100+ board to be as informative and supportive as I do. I look forward to reading more about your journey and the positive changes you are making in your life. Race you to the Fourth Of July! :)

Ok so far today I have been VERY healthy and have eaten 820 calories total with breakfast, snack #1, Lunch, and snack #2...I still have dinner to go! Which will be around 400cals. So I am just over 1,200!

I want to make a go at it too! I'm starting today at 195 lbs. and I want to lose 11 pounds which averages to about 1.5 lbs. a week. It would put me down to 184.

I also would like to add a fitness goal of working out for a total of 31 days (which averages to roughly 4-5 days a week). I'm going to print out a calendar and mark off each day that I worked out starting with today!!

Woot! I checked on the scale everything on dead on. So I had to suck up and deal with the 237...but I'm DOWN 5lbs, 232lbs This morning! Thank you God for water weight and the strength, and enjoy it gives to someone trying to lose weight! I'm drinking tons of water and eating 1,200-1,500 calories a day and working out at Curves! Go Gaea, keep Going don't given in keep going!!!!!!!
