Velvet Lost 51 Lbs!!!
51 lbs!!!!! Do you have any idea how heavy a 50 lb bag of dog food weighs? I struggle to carry it, as am sure many people do! 51 lbs gone forever! That is wonderful, you should be very proud of yourself. We are all proud of you, as you inspire us daily.
I hope you treat yourself to something nice. Maybe a new blouse or something? You deserve it.
WOOHOOOO!

I TRIED to post this a few days ago! My server, 'puter, AND my phone have screwed up this week at different times. I got the reply all written and it *POOFED* away!
You are all so sweet to congratulate me like this. I'm thrilled that I've found this club. I'm also thrilled about the wtloss! It has slowed down somewhat, but that's to be expected, huh? PLEEEEEEEEEEEEASE tell me i should expect this!!....
Hopefully I'll be checking in more often from now on!!
Love, Gayle

Gayle your body does need to take a rest and adjust to the weight loss. so for a month or so take it easy and plan on bein on maintinance so your body can readjust itself. DO NOT take this time as a time to pig out. you will lose ground then. just slowly and patientoy watch what you eat and do not scale jump. keep drinking your water so you can keep your metabolism up but hang in there. and wait a month before you go hard core again!!! the you should see results!

Gayle, we had a lady at WW who plateaued for EIGHT WEEKS! She stayed exactly the same for eight weeks, even though she was on plan, drinking her water, and exercising. She stuck to it, then finally lost 3 1/2 lbs. From there, it was all downhill. She just made lifetime recently - lost something like 86 lbs. So hang in there!

Way to go, Velvet!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
51 pounds down!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It's so comforting to hear about plateaus, that they can last for weeks, and then BAM, the weight starts coming off. I know someone who was on a plateau for six months! It's true that the body needs time to adjust to its new size.
Keep up the excellent work, Velvet!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
