My husband had his gallbladder out 5 years ago and has never felt the same since. He's been to about 3 different specialists, had so many tests I could spend an hour writing out which ones and had scopes up and down the digestive system looking for the problem and could not find it and everyone basically threw up their hands and said we don't know what is wrong with you....the best they could do was to prescribe narcotics to stop the pain he was having (one of several symptoms)....the master cleanser gave him some relief and then finally he went to a naturopath who has helped him tremendously. Now having said all this know that I am a registered nurse, have been one for 10 years so traditional medicine is my thing. With all our technology and science we just don't know everything about the human body and how it works. What works for me might not work for you and vice versa and sometimes alternative medicines or treatments are the only thing that works. If my husband had not been willing to try something that was not real, verifiable science he'd still be in a lot of pain today and not able to work because the narcotics that dulled the pain made it impossible for him to work, as it is he is pain free, able to work and has a quality of life that is about a million times better than it was before. |
My personal experience with it was that the effects are the exact same as fasting. I think the sugar in the maple syrup and the pepper just went the extra mile in completely throwing my stomach off track.
Like I said, it was an experiment born out of curiosity. Lesson learned. No more snake oil for me. |
Jen i had my gallbladder out also it will be 7 years this august and i have had nothing BUT PROBLEMS since .. its definitely a big life style change .. but not for all i guess there's those that have all the bad symptoms and some that have none .. some days i wish i had never had mine out .. but then i think back to the pain i was in before I had it removed it was a lose lose situation .. my daughter damaged mine when i was pregnant with her .. blah
