being a motivation

  • My friend who I started dieting with last year before falling off the wagon said that she had lost 50 lbs rather quickly and then when I, and a few others, stopped tracking (we were all friends on the daily plate and irl) that she gained 8 lbs back.

    Then i came back.

and she is losing again, and I brought others with me too.

She told me that it's less about herkeeping on me for my sake as it is for me to keep on others, and that being a motivation is more important than having an inspiration basically.

I never thought of it this way. Just thought I'd share the sentiment.
  • Yeah, I'd agree that being inspirational to others is even better than being inspired by others. Hopefully you can all inspire each other!
