I will stay on plan because I am getting frusterated with gaining and losing the same five pounds. It's frusterating because I have been pretty consistent with the losses since I started. Now this! Argggggh!

Because I'm tired of wearing the same 2 dressy shirts I have when I have a whole closet full of beautiful clothes that I cannot fit into.

I will stay on my plan today because extra food won't change the fact that DH was part of a big lay off at his company. Food also does not make stress or pain go away.

I second what Beverlyjoy said! I managed to put on 6lbs over the course of three days due to stress and grief eating. No more! Hunger is not my problem, so food is not the solution!

I will stay on plan today because I need to lose 2 pounds this week to meet my monthly goal. I set a modest goal of losing 5 pounds a month. I have exceeded that goal every month except Dec. Even with all the holiday eating, I still lost the 5 pounds that month. Now in Feb. my weight loss slowed down for some reason. I have only lost 3 pounds so far; so to meet my Feb. goal, I need to lose 2 pounds this week!

I will stay on plan today because I'm in the 180's!!!!!!!!! Getting close to 185 where my BMI will be overweight and not obese.

I will stay on goal today because I set a goal for myself that leaves me no room for failure. I entered into a friendly 10% by Memorial Day challenge with my mother, sister, and workout buddy, without consideration for the fact that 10% for me is a larger amount of fat-loss than it is for the other three women involved, significantly larger. I WILL STAY ON GOAL TODAY. I STAYED YESTERDAY, I WILL STAY TOMORROW. |
It is great to hear that other people read this thread. I usually read a few of the entries above mine and get inspiration. But... I mainly post here to remind myself of why today is important, that every day is important and I can do this one day at a time!
