Yes, this place IS awesome. Soooo glad you've found us.

I am a calorie counter as well. IMO, there is no better longterm approach to weight loss and maintenance then counting up those calories. Wanting to get the most from every precious one that goes in my mouth has forced me to choose good, nutritious, tasty, wholesome foods, which gives me a lot of volume, something I like and need. It's also the only thing that makes me limit my portions and tell me when to stop eating.

As far as exercise, why not just start out walking? Also consider buying yourself a resistance band to add in some strength training. Leslie Sansone's 1,2 & 3 miles Walk Away the Pounds DVD is another great beginning exericse.

Looking forward to hearing from you as you embark on this exciting, incredible, REWARDING journey towards good health.
