Do you get rashes?

I found a cure, at least it works for me.
I sometimes get those nasty ones, and any meds the doctor gave me took so long to make it go away, and it always ended up coming back.
But this combination is amazing. Honestly. It works overnight, or in 2 days at the most. And it is not expensive.
You use AQUAPHOR and mix it with malox. Aquaphor is similar to vaseline, but different. You can get it in a jar or tube. And I avoid mint Malox, it tends to sting, but any other flavor will work fine. Just mix the 2 together and put it on the affected spot liberally. I do it before I go to bed, and in the morning I'm sooooo much better. It is an amazing cure.

Thought I'd share my secrets!

Cool.

I use Oto Soothe, a salve I get from the veterinarian I work for. It's an anti-fungal, anti-bacterial for dog ears. Works great.

Cool. I get rashes from hormone fluctuations that no Dr has ever pin pointed the exact cause but takes steroids to get rid of. I only get the steroids if it is really really bad so I might try this for the milder ones. Right now its on my hands and so annoying.

I get one repeatedly in the same place. I just got a prescription for it. Next time, I'll try what you posted. Thanks!

Thank you for sharing that. I get bad rashes on my inner thighs in the summer so I will have to try that.

What kind of rashes are you referring too? Heat rashes, friction type rashes? I have a rash that comes up from something I eat (havent figured out what yet) but the reaction is worse everytime it hits and involves more and more rounds of steriods. I'm wondering if this will work for it too? That would be so nice. :)

A good ol' tube of Desitin does the trick for me....gone overnight!

Randi (JustWannaBeMe)

THAT is an allergic reaction, and can be very serious!
My hubby is allergic to shrimp, and that is exactly what happens to him. Please be careful, because you are bordering on anaphylaxis, and people can die from that!

No, this will not work for that type of rash. This is more for the rash that people get in places that doesn't see air! I think it is a type of skin yeast infection. Though it works wonderfully on diaper rash for babies too!

::sigh:: That's what I figured  No hope in trying though right?. I do see the doc whenever it happens, I have to in order to get rid of it. I just wish I knew what it was! And no, its not MSG.

Soothing Care powder gel and dry powder are very good for rashes in those places that chafe or where you get heat rash, like underarms. And you don't have to mix anything.

Randi (justwannabeme), have you ever had poison ivy or poison oak? Anyway, I agree--these medicines aren't for anything that's an allergic reaction... :(
