Funny you should say that...

I have a lifetime membership that I paid hundreds of dollars for at Beverly Hills Weight Loss and Wellness. *rolls eyes* Everytime I'd go in and weigh she would tell me "I hope to see less of you next time!" :trampo:

That's the last time you'll hear it from me. :^:

I can relate to a lot of your list. My mom is big, too...my sister that used to be thinner is a little bigger than me now...(she has 3 kids tho...I don't have that excuse.)...I used to have NO ENERGY....ummm....I still look for 3/4 sleeves for the flappy arm thing...:dizzy: The spots on every shirt thing? Been there, too...

I guess I'm trying to say you are not alone!

I don't have all the answers, either, but I started with logging what I eat and walking almost every day. Then I added paying attention to how many calories. Then I added trying to eat more healthy foods to get more nutrition for those precious calories...then I added weight training to build muscle...then I added biking which I discovered can be quite addicting. :carrot:

Take it in steps if it seems too overwhelming. But make a plan and build healthier habits for yourself. You WILL feel better. I'm not going to tell you it's easy...cause it ain't. But it's not impossible.

I'm sorry, I didn't mean to make you think that I didn't like hearing that. :) I actually think it is kind of a cute statement. I would love to see less of me too! ;)

I was eye rolling about the fact that I spent hundreds of dollars on a program that didn't work for me. (again) :dizzy:

Sorry for the misunderstanding.

As for the flappy arms, they aren't flappy much anymore... they have gone past that and now look like parachutes, they are so big. :(

I really should start journaling, It seemed to really help in the past.

It's hard to hear tone over the net...no offense taken or intended. :D

I don't want to disparage programs just because they cost a lot of money because they do work for some people...but for me it hasn't been necessary. The "how to" is fairly simple...eat less, move more. It's the follow thru and the building habits that's freaking hard. But if ya ask me...being fat ain't so easy either. So it comes down to picking your "hard".

Edited to add that your avatar (Diet Coke with bacon) is cracking me up. :lol3:

I get the feeling that diet coke and bacon wouldn't taste so great. But who knows? It is low carb. ;)
