  • so i went to the gym again today.. the second time this week.. i plan to go tomorrow too! i felt soo good. i am having a hard time to get my target heart rate on the eliptical though.. ugh it was frustrating.. i dont want to over do it and cause myself damage so i only did that for fifteen minutes.. i also got on the scale and lost 5 pounds! i am stoked
  • Yay, katie! Keep up the good work. The heart rate thing should be okay once your body adjusts to the exercise more. Until then, if it goes too high, just slow down a bit.

    welcome katiejames. Congrats on going to the gym 2 times so far. On weeks I go at least 3 times a week are my best weeks. physically and emotionally. Much congrats on the 5lbs gone too!

I too worked out today because even though I am not superstitious, I kind of believe what you do on New Year's is what you do all year long and I plan on doing more working out and getting healthy. I did cheat and do a weigh in and lost two pounds. I know I am supposed to be saving it for the BL challenge. Sorry but I couldn't help it. I was just feeling a bit more skinny today. I tried the elliptical but I do a few minutes and stop. It's not easy for me but if you keep it up it's a wonderful fat burning exercise! Good luck and I wish you all the best!!!
