The outfit you describe sounds good. Get simple black, comfortable shoes, don't chew gum or wear dangly earrings. I have interviewd people for jobs and know interviewers notice everything. The fact that you are concerned about your appearance is a good thing. Good luck on your interview.

If all else fails, do as Rhonda suggests; it may not be the classiest thing, but you wouldn't be the first and certainly not the last! And as you said, you do what you have to do when money is tight.

This is what I wore to the interview.
I think I looked pretty good. Long black linen jacket over a red v-neck shirt. Black pants and pointy black boots.

The interview was 2 hours followed by a 1 hour written test. I did great on the interview - but ran out of time on the written test. Overall pretty good interview.

I am glad your interview went well! :) I think that it is great that you wrote an hour test, and the interview was 2 hours long - I know that a long interview is a very good sign. I hope you get the job!! I think the black and red went really well together, too.

I am going to be looking for a Job in January (moving to another country), and I already bought a suit - Problem is, it doesn't fit yet!! I have 4 weeks to lose a dress size. Is that even possible?

Let us know about the job! I love it when people have a chance to get a dream job. I think that we spend so much time working - and we need to LOVE what we do.
