WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH!

As if things weren't bad enough, I just made a whole big post, and it got lost when I tried to post it! OK, Readers Digest Version...

I'm p!ssed, bought a new scale, and it's weighing me WAY higher than the scales I normally use, I'd accept a few pounds gain, because of TOM, and the comfort food thing, but this is ridiculous... has me at 340, I KNOW I didn't gain 15 pounds...I couldn't have, not while dropping inches... BUT, I'll take it, and adjust my birthday goal, even though I'm going to try REALLY hard for it anyway, because I WANT MY CHARM BRACELET!

My mom is having a heart catheterization, I asked her if that was enough to get her off her butt, and away from the pork chops, and she told me probably not... she "doesn't have time to lose weight" grrrrr...stubborn woman, this comes 2 years after her younger brother had a triple bypass....

Jenniffer: I think maybe you should aim for Reno....lol, I'd have a better chance of meeting you, I'm a northern nv gal, 8 hours from Vegas, 3 from Reno :D

Beth Anne: I'm SO glad you feel better, I was afraid you were going to suffer the same misery I did...

Mrs.: eeek! Storms are the one thing I don't miss about Ohio!! Hope everything is OK!

JM: Take care of that sweet boy.... and then come bak to us, and try to work off whatever damage you've done to yourself :D

Hey PNG---
if this makes you feel any better, I have a pretty decent scale at home.. dropped some good dough on it... and it consistently weighs about 6-7 lbs heavy!!!! I put a 25 lb bag of something on it the other day, and it said it was 33 lbs, so that's when I knew it was screwed up... so do not dispair!

Jenniffer- well shall I be honest about my weekend plans?? LOL!! We're planning on going to the gym at the timeshare, going swimming, spending time in the hot tub, visiting local "attractions"... watching movies... and making the best of the California King sized bed!!!

Bella - DO NOT DO THIS TO YOURSELF!! your weight can fluctuate by about 8 lbs daily!! which is why its important to weigh yourself at the same time weekly, instead of stressing over ups and downs. I lost 3 lbs in 24 hours!!! (Remember that week I went to Weight Watchers twice??) Besides the fact that water can add weight to ya.. so don't worry!!

Sandi - I really hope that Jacob is better soon!! thanks for the pic, he is SUCH a cutie!! (And hubby too!! I am finding that a few of us have things for hunks with goatees and short hair!!)

velvet - did you make it through your day?

AAAARRRRRGGGGGHHHHHHH!!!!!! Look how far behind I am again!! I get started posting everywhere, and I can't stop myself!! The posts go on and on. Gotta get a better system!

Well, let's see how I do!

Sandi, how is Jacob...he sure is a beautiful child! Hope he's all better soon. Don't worry about being OP or not. There's time to catch back up on that.

BA, have a great time on your vacation. Sounds GREAT!

PNG! I hate those old scales anyway...then when they lie to you, too...chuck them out the window!!! You're doing fine. And you'll get your charm bracelet!

I'll be back later, everyone else, things are getting busy here at my door.

Bella, I was just wondering how many calories are you eating everyday? You posted the one day as eating 925, that was the day that the gym scales had you at a 2 lbs gain. I know this may sound funny but you have to make sure you are eating enough to lose weight otherwise your body goes into starvation mode and hangs on to every last bit of fat that it can. Just wondering.

I had the same thing happen when I went to WW, their scale is 10lbs heavier than the one I have at home. talk about a huge let down! I have to assume that theirs is correct after all they are in the business of weighing people, it would behoove them to have correct scales.

Take care all, have a great weekend.

No, that was only the first two days. I have been eating at least 1200 cal now. I make sure that I do. I also don't have a home scale so I only weigh on the gym scale.

I think it may have been my water intake, but we'll find out tomorrow. I go to the gym and that is my wiegh in day.

I'll give you all an update tomorrow.

Well, I dunno what finally snapped, but I am surely a woman on a mission :D Looking at this thing, I'm thinking it's time for a new thread... was going to wait until tomorrow, but this one has been very busy...sheesh! I've been doing very good, staying off of my scales... lol, I just know I'd end up jumping on everytime I passed them if I gave myself any allowances... I don't know if when I should make my weigh in day, I guess Mondays would help to keep me in line over the weekend. Now, should I weigh in this week, or wait, since I just got the damned things? O'well, I'll figure that out Monday :D I'm thinking of laying off processed sugar, not to the point that I buy prepared foods that are without, because we don't buy a lot of sweet stuff (when we're being good and determined) and I don't think it would make a bit of difference, but ADDED sugar, I think I'll lay off, drink my coffee and herbals plain, just forget I have a sugar dish at all...but still if I decide I want a cinnamon crisp, I can have one every once in a while :) Well, now I got up and got Ravyn b'fast, and totally forgot where I was going with this... so, until later.... :D

Hi Ladies...

I finally got to sleep in...didn't get up 'til damn near 12:30! This week has been insane...school is out on the 24th, so the kids have been asking me DAILY "Mrs. M, when are we gonna quit doing work?" On top of it, they're ALL ready to be out of school, and I don't blame them. My best and sweetest girl - never in any trouble ever - pulled the fire alarm in the girls bathroom on Tuesday just to see what would happen! Going to the principal's office and being threatened with suspension/calling the police scared the s**t out of her, though. (Wouldn't faze any of my other kids...) so she won't do it again. Plus, I had visitors in my classroom on Friday and a ton of Teach for America stuff to do on Friday night/Saturday morning. So now it's 1:00 on Sunday afternoon and I still haven't lesson planned for the week.

Food...doing well so far. Usually, busy = drive-thru and gas station junk, but I've avoided all that. Even forgot to eat breakfast on Friday...forgetting about food for me is pretty surreal! Remembered when I couldn't figure out why my tummy was growling at 10:00 in the morning.

Got a compliment from a friend yesterday, who told me I was "losing my butt." Trust me, there's still plenty of butt there! Even if I were 110 lbs., I would have an ample rear end. (Thanks a lot, Grandma! :p )

Scales....mine weigh less than WW too, I think. Saturday before last I weighed in at 232 on WW scales, but two days later weighed 225 at home. No way I could have lost that much weight in two not-very-OP days! I think the difference could be clothing (I always weigh naked at home), but I usually weigh in at WW with just sweats and a t-shirt, no shoes. Certainly my ratty old sweatpants don't weigh 7 pounds! Anyhow, no big deal...numbers are all relative, anyway. What's the point of a number that's lower if I'm still knocking kids' books off their desks with my a$$ every time I walk down the aisles?

Till later...
Jennelle :)
