This is something I would also be interested in but I am not really wanting to fly anywhere and with a baby going by car or train is about the only way to go. Why don't you guys come up to Niagara Falls, tons of hotels, your US$ will go further. Don't know if you really want to come in January though...the lights on the falls are really nice and there is a nice casino there too. I live in SW Ontario so driving to Niagara would be good. Alternatively I could train it to NY but again January might not be a good time.

If you decide NC I may be able to go too. My husband has relatives in NC and he has wanted to go and visit them this summer.

4 from "New England/NY" area (2 NY, 1 MA, 1 NJ)
3 from "Central US" (1 OH, 1 IN, 1 PA)
1 from Canada
1 from North Dakota
1 from North Carolina

I would suggest we meet in PA or NY. Those are most central to everyone if I look on the map and stick pins in it.. we should also consider who can afford to fly, and who can't when we pick the location too..

I would say that I can probably do anytime after October/November 2002 so I have long enough to plan and save $$$ for hotel, etc.

One other question - does this include hubbys/significant others?
I have no issue with hubbys coming along.. and I'd LOVE to meet some of your babies :)

PA or NY would be great for me. Driving is most practical and economical for me and either of those is close to me. I know my Mom would like to meet you guys.

After the first of the year would be better for me, 'cause Mom and I are driving to Maine in Sept or Oct, so that would give us more time to save up some more $$. But, if sooner is best, I'll work it out somehow.

Okay..looks like January would be the best time for everyone. Despite the cold weather..it will give us time to plan and save and lose more weight.

I am sure we all would love to have it in our back yards so we would be able to avoid the traveling, especially since it will be January.

I would love to go outside of New York. I live here and I love it, but I love to travel. And NY isn't the best place to be in in January.

I know that "picking a middle" spot makes sense, but not always. If there will be some ppl flying in, those ticket prices vary alot by which airport you'll be flying into.

I think I will post a poll so we can pick a spot.
