I ran a 5k today....in 34:19. Jogging might now be my first choice when it comes to cardio....but dagnabbit if I didn't run the whole thing.

Sporty Gina is giving quite the beat down to 'couch potato' Gina.

34:19 is a relatively slow jog...I was concentrating on not walking. I think the adrenaline of running with so many faster people made me go faster. I usually run more like 5.5 mph on the treadmill. This was like 6 and I was still getting past by tons of people. I looked up the stats - I would have been first in my age group if I was 75 yrs old.

Oh - and I walked like I was 75 yesterday.....today is better. I got back on my bike.
