Hey Jenniffer,

I have an online friend who's husband tried to get into doing medical billing from home. I think she had said it was racket, unfortunately. She had said that most medical offices have their own billing people that they train to work in the office, not from home. I think her husband had paid a decent amount of money for training and materials, and never even got to use the skills.

I can write and ask her for more details-i.e. what school he used, to see where to stay away from. I'm pretty sure that he did not have any success with it at all.

I'm sorry to give bad news-I wish I could tell you that he did well and made money at it, but he didn'tl.

I was hoping not to hear that..but was kind of expecting it. lol I have heard really good things about it, and some bad things too.

I would really appreciate it if you could get some info from her, like what school and how much money he paid up front. If you can, it would help me alot.
