Rita! I missed you!

Lately, I've been watching The Biggest Loser: Australia on You Tube for a little extra motivation and listening to Jillian Michael's podcasts from her radio shows. I've also begun some visualization exercises...I close my eyes and visual myself seeing 150 on my scales, running 5 miles on the treadmill, flexing my muscles in my legs, putting on a size 12 pair of jeans, etc etc etc.

Hope you keep posting with us.

Yes, it helps to close your eyes and visualize yourself at the size you'd like to be - I think even if you have to remember a time in your life when you were younger, perhaps, and at that size.

I have a pair of jeans that I want to fit in hanging up I also come here to get motivated. I love looking at all of the goal pictures and reading the stories about how others did it!

Well..since I haven't lost any real amount of weight yet it's hard for me to find motivation sometimes too. But I think about what I want and wether its worth it. Do I really really want to start over...again..or do I want to keep going and feel what it feels like to actually lose something.

I also come on here and surf around...I love this place.

I'm finding on this visualization thing that it doesn't come instantly or easily for me. I'll keep working at it. I'm trying to build a picture in my mind of fitting easily into an airline seat!

I love success stories for motivation. I read the "Half of Me" blog -- which has now been changed to PastaQueen. She lost 192 pounds and her writing is terrific! Also the Weigh We Were site. But I agree, surfing the 3FC site is the best!
