magazines I like to read

This is a good question for me :)

I am an absolute magazine junkie:

I read:

Romantic Homes-I'm a sucker for decorating magazines
Woman's Day
Blades on Ice (figure skating magazine)
Rosie
Country Decorating Ideas
Country Almanac
Quick Cooking
Light and Tasty
Taste of Home
Prevention
Family Fun
Parents
Parenting
Performing Songwriter (great music magazine of singer songwriters)
English Homes (British decorating)
25 Beautiful Homes (British decorating)
Romantic Times-I don't like Romance novels, but like their reviews for mainstream fiction

I used to read Country Accents, Country Victorian and Victorian Decorating and Lifestyle until the publisher went out of business last year.

I might even be forgetting some-isn't that sad. You don't want to know how much money I've spent on magazines. Books and magazines are definitely my vice :)

Anyone else like any of the more obscure titles I listed?

Have a great day-
Sherry

I used to buy tons of mags but I was finding that I was just skimming through them and not really reading the whole thing. then I would feel bad because it does end up costing a lot of money in the long run. BTW what does everyone do with their magazines once they have read them? I hope you just aren't chucking them in the garbage. If you can't recycle magazines take them into your doctor's and leave them in the waiting room. I take my read magazines into work or leave them in various waiting rooms. Believe me they will be much appreciated by those that get tired of reading the same old National Geographic that has been sitting there forever.

I buy every month without fail: Biography
Occasionally I buy: Prevention, Runner's World, Canadian Living
Getting by subscription: Parenting

I always read the following from cover to cover

First
Woman's World
Family Circle
Woman's Day
Crochet by Heart
Crochet On The Go

When I'm not reading magazines I'm reading murder mysteries. I recycle my magazines by taking them to work and passing them on or giving them to the childrens director at church for the kids to cut pictures out of (except First don't think it has to many
Sunday School pictures!)

Carol

what do you do with your magazines

When I'm done with my magazines, I donate them to our library. They have a booksale/magazine sale nine months out of the year. The proceeds raise money for the library.

I also give some of them to family and friends.

I've been meaning to see if a local senior citizen center could use them.
