Hello all,

I thought I would check in. I went in to the hospital on the 21st at 8:30 AM. They broke my water at 9:00AM and then again between 1 and 2 PM. I was only dialated to a 7 at 8:00 PM. He gave me some pictosin at 10 PM. It was alot of pain. More than my sons. I was asking them to use the vaccuum on her but they told me I was just about there. She has a full head of dark hair. I delivered a little girl (Stephanie Helen) at 3:32AM. She was 8 lbs. 11 ozs. I got home from the hospital today Sunday the 24th. She is a really good but she is a little colicy during the day.

I just wanted to let everyone know I was OK and feeling good right now. I will see how I feel in a couple days after we have adjusted to the home.

I just wanted to say CONGRATS!!!!!

I got lucky, my girls came quick and easy, the first labor was 3 hours and the second was 5 hours (induced)

But all said and done I bet she was worth every second.

Congrats!!! Fantastic news. I love her name, Stephanie Helen, it sounds so regal and elegant.

I had the pitocin too, I have never had so much pain in my life. Thank goodness though, they told me if I ever have another baby just to schedule a c-section because I am too narrow even if I have a small baby.

I am doing great and so is Stephanie. Last night was better got around 6 hours of sleep and slept another 2 this morning. I am feeling pretty good but will have to see what happens tonight since I am alone with all the kids. My mother said she would stick around and help out if I wanted her to but we will have to see. I have TOPS tonight and will see how things go. I have to be there because I am the new weight recorder and it's instalation night. I was thinking it would be easy to leave her with someone for a couple hours but I am starting to get anxieties over leaving her. Well talk to you all later.

Glad to hear your feeling well. I could imagine the anxiety over leaving her for a few hours so soon. But it may be a good thing to do it right away. It will help you in the long run. And it's good to have some "non mommy" time for yourself.
