Default Happy Halfway Through the Year!

We're exactly 6 months into the year and I just wanted to give a shout-out to my fellow chicks!

I started on January 1st and am pleased with how the year is going so far. It's been fabulous, and I'm looking forward to the rest of the year. I'm absolutely thankful for this wonderful resource, all of you. With a little commitment and determination we can do anything!

Here's to making the rest of 2008 as fabulous as the first 6 months! No regrets on New Year's Eve this year!

There is so not where I wanted to be at this point -- I'm a bit behind!!

But I still have 6 months to catch up!!! I refuse to enter another new year full of regrets that I didn't lose any weight.

I've got to tell you about the feeling of acheivement that comes from already having lost weight when new year's eve rolls around. It's a great feeling of accomplishment to truly know how hard you've worked the past year.

Jan 1, 09 -- let's all be around to look back on how far we've come!

Wow, where'd the time go? It needs to slow down.

I had to go back and look. On Jan 1 I weighed 248. So in six months I have lost 32 pounds. Not bad

Keep on keepin' on, people. We can all be healthier on the next Jan 1.

Wow. July 1. 1/2 a year gone by - already. Can't be. But it is. Time really DOES fly.

It is helpful to ponder the previous 6 months - and look ahead to the next 6. Let's definitely make the most of it!

This year is half gone already?! Doesn't seem possible. That leaves 6 months of this year to get farther with my weight loss. Makes me look forward to Jan 1st. Can't wait to see how far we have all gotten by then.

You've lost 81 pounds since Jan. 1, 08? That is impressive and you give me hope!! You will no doubt meet your goal by year end and that is terrific!! I am hoping to do the same. I have lost 51 pounds in 4 months and am hoping that I can be at goal by New Years!!

Yeah, I looked at this and went OH NO!!!!!! 6 months in and I'm supposed to be 50 pounds down... and I WOULD have been if I hadn't been so STUPID this past month!

So... I'm 38 down... not horrible... not horrible at all... but... 38 is not 50...

6 months to go---- time to buckle down and dig my heels in...

Thanks Wendy! I hope I can be at goal by New Year's. My loss has slowed down a bit, but I'm still going strong. You're doing wonderfully, congrats!

Let's just do it girls!

Gosh I cannot believe how fast this went by. I just wish I wouldn't have been so stupid the last month and a half I could have been futher along. I know losing 100 pounds in that time is awesome, gaining 10 pounds back is not lol.

I set a goal of 40 lbs. for myself this year and I'm only down 15, so I've got some serious buckling down to do...
