It really is amazing that our bodies were able to carry the huge amount of weight many of us have lost. I would struggle to even lift the 80+lbs I've lost never mind walk with it. No wonder everyday activities are so much easier now.

Well done Lori

You look amazing and what a great visual comparison!! I always compare my weight loss to my kids. I'll say "I've lost a whole Jordanna!" (daughter) or "I've almost lost 3 Eriks!" (son). It's amazing, since my DS is heavy to carry around!!

This is amazing. You look great and so happy, as you should be!

Now, imagine walking around carrying those 100 pound boxes all day; you would get quite a workout!

I did something similar to what I just described a few months ago: I walked up and down the stadium stairs and worked out with a 50 pound vest. It really put things into perspective.

Smile One picture is worth a thousand words, right?

I was in the grocery store the other day and I lifted a 10 lb bag of potatoes in our cart. My DH's favorite food is white potatoes! He's all Irish! Anyway, I said to him someday when I have lost all of my weight I want to return to the same grocery store, gather together a bunch of produce guys (gals?) and have them hold all of the bags of potatoes I was carrying around on my body then I am going to have a photo taken of that.

Remember when Oprah brought out that red wagon full of animal fat to demonstrate her weight lose at the time. It really brings it home, doesn't it???

How could we have been so unloving to our bodies to have put them through all of this???

Again, thanks for sharing, and congrats on the 100 lb weight lose!

Hello all, haven't been on here in a while, too busy eating everything that doesn't move put of my reach. And do I feel any better? NO. ACK...everything feels too small, even my underwear!!!!!
I got my 2nd shipment of NS, and am starting tomorrow to do this once and for all.
Also made kind of a silly purchase, a dog stroller. I have two very small dogs, and figured this way I can walk them a few blocks until they get tired, and then keep going until I get tired! Fresh air and exercise for everybody in the family.
Lori, congratulations girlfriend! I am so proud of you, and hope you treated yourself to a spa day or new clothes or something fabulous.
Nightengale, good for you! I'm a former gator, and can just see you sprinting up that stadium.
Please cheer me on everybody to get my butt in gear, eat on the NS program only, and get some exercise. I am completely miserable doing what I am doing now.

WOW that is amazing! It makes me tired just thinking about it. I know I couldn't lift that much weight so how in the world do I walk around with it?
