This is my mother's FAVORITE visual to give me whenever I get snippy or upset with my weight loss thus far--- That and 5 lb sacks of potatoes... she always says--- go to the store and carry around 9 sacks of potatoes- you'll realize REAL quick how great of an accomplishment that is!!!!
I've lost 174 sticks of butter! I can't even imagine that!

My mom does the same thing to me........but it is great to hear......208 sticks of butter for me!

I've lost about 60 sticks of butter, but probably half of those were "light butter." (Water weight  )

My grandmother measured her weight loss with 10# bowling balls. She still keeps them in her closet floor to remind her when she dresses for the day. She says it's more shocking than the gradual shock of a scale or mirror. I think there's eight of them in there.

I had worked out a similar thing with cans of coke. I figure I needed to lose 900 cans of coke. I've lost something like 145 cans since Aug.

How would I even carry that out of the grocery store?
I carried 320 stick of butter everywhere I went?
