Ha! I'm the newbie and starting this thread. Hope nobody minds, but I was so excited and proud of myself that I wanted to share this morning!!
My kids' swim lessons start tonight so it will be hard to get exercise in during the evenings. So I'm up an hour early & going for a walk this am. Yay me! :carrot: |
I'm back. *whew* I took a 4 lb weight with me, and did about 5 diff arm exercises while I was walking as well. Yay me!

FB - hope it was a tailwind for your bike ride! Headwinds suck LOL! Today I did my lower body bowflex and then C25K. Another 25 minute jog. Although I did 28 minutes so I could finish a full 1 3/4 miles. |

Extra things I did today (in addition to my early morning walk) include: 15-20 mins of Dance Dance Revolution, walked up 3 flights of stairs at the dr office, and did leg kicks in the pool while the girls were in swim lessons.

I did 1.5 miles of the 3-mile WATP. DD woke up early from her nap grumpy, and my workout ended early. It's a beautiful day though, so after dinner, I might take the kids out for a walk.

Today was upper body bowflex :lifter: , then the Firm Cardio Overdrive (45 min). That one makes me sweat! |
Monday and Tues I did 30 minutes on the treadmill and some weights. My feet kinda hurt though. But I am glad I've been consistint in my workouts. I can eat more when I work out too...;)

Blah, I didn't exercise yesterday due to a... hangover. Blech. I stayed well within my calories Monday, knowing I'd drink them later. Cripes, I felt awful! I haven't had drinks since losing weight, and apparently misjudged my new capacity. I had fun with people I haven't seen in awhile, but I can't say it was worth it, I still feel yucko two mornings later.
I'll work it off today! |
I just started last week walking a mile mon-fri at my local park. Thats a big deal for this couch potato:D

Today I did the WATP 3-mile. I actually finished it this time...yay! I have to do something different for tomorrow. My thighs are screaming for a change. :) |

I got up a bit earlier today - geesh was that ever hard !! lol - but I did walk to and from work today - legs a wee bit tired - but is ok - and I think I will be walking to work from now on! -----> dancing hotdog :carrot: (shhhhh Im pretending)

Just got home from the gym. I did 30 minutes on the treadmill and then some weights. Still can't jog for long. minute in a half, tops, but I do try to work it in a little.

Shew, regardless of my lingering alcohol poisoning I went for a walk with the dog. Some jerko yelled 'PIG!'. So my worst fears came true- fat girl being yelled at. And you know what? It didn't bother me as much as I thought it would. I just made the crudest gesture I know (would shock any sailor or construction guy), and kicked the walk up a notch. That stupid *^(*&%^$.
And hey! The HRM says I burnt 630 calories. |
Zumba is really fun!!!!! I usually get my second wind after 30 mins. Very sexy and you work what your momma gave you! I was too tired this morning to go the gym to work out. Tomorrow morning will be a combination of walk and jog....mostly walking. :)

FB - ignore the jerks. They obviously have their own issues to deal with. I don't understand the pleasure some people derive from that kind of stuff.

I did 14 mins of floor exercises this morning (crunches, leg lifts, butt squeezes, etc); DH and I have been running in different directions lately, so I needed to spend some time w/him this morning, and knew I wasn't going to go walking, but was happy to get this 14 mins in....

Thanks Lori- I don't understand why they do it either. I was just so surprised! Now that it's finally happened and I figured out that it doesn't hurt I can.... JOG ON THE STREET! Cars or no cars! Congrats on your jogging by the way!

Today's aerobic activity was mowing the front and back yards (push mower). Despite the cool temps, I worked up quite a sweat! For my regular exercise time, I'm going to do a yoga dvd.

Tonight was a quick 14 miles bike ride. I was nearly hit by a car, exciting times!
