Thanks everyone!!! Like many I struggle with body image. I have a mental image in my head that no matter if I gain or lose that is how I see myself...a double edged sword!! When I saw my pic at my starting weight I thought, "that is just a bad pic...I don't look THAT bad" But I did!! I made myself look at that pic and realize that I truly had gotten that big. But when I saw the pic taken on the 9th I thought, Wow...NOW I can tell the difference. I am planning on taking pics every moth or so now.

Well done!!!!! You can certainly tell the difference, and I agree with others that you actually look as though you have lost more than 31lbs.

There are a few things that you have also done - between photos - that make the WORLD of difference to your appearance. The new hairdo makes you look younger and shows off your facial features more. Great choice! You also have on MUCH MORE flattering clothes. The outfit in the recent photo is very flattering and draws the eye down the body, slimming you down even more.

In the next photo I'd love to see a smile, as you SHOULD be smiling at the great job you are doing.
