I Love You People
I just wanted to say, I really love you people who are here posting and being supportive and sharing all your struggles and victory. I have never been successful at losing weight before and I know this time, having support and people who CARE makes it easier. Knowing I am not alone is so valuable to me and touches my heart. I saw 234 on the scale this morning, and that is a number I can never remember seeing in ten years. It is hard to wrap my brain around but I am just so grateful... thank you all so much for being here. I really enjoy all your posts!!

Congratulations, Lyn! I love it here, too. According to the National Weight Control Registry, having a great support system is crucial to losing weight and keep it off successfully. Let's hear it for 3FC and the 100lb club!

Lyn.. you are doing fabulous! I find myself here wayyyy too much during the day because like you I LOVE the support that is here! I'm also learning soooooo much by floating around the board... and I haven't even been to a quarter of the areas here! This place is totally awesome!!!

I really enjoy your blog, I check it every week for new entries. I was feeling pretty flat earlier, but reading posts like yours, and your blog, makes me feel a little better. So thanks! We have a lot of similar vital stats, so I like to follow your progress. It's so tough, isn't it? But it's great to know there are others out there, with the same hopes, fears and struggles. Oh Lyn, that is SO marvelous. I am so happy for you. It's just such a thrilling journey, isn't it.
And we most certainly are all in this together, that's for sure. I found this place so valuable to me as I was losing and just as vital now that I am in maintenance. I would shudder to think of how I would have gotten so far without this place. It is so helpful, so incredibly helpful to be able to "speak" with others who know exactly where I'm coming from.
Keep up the amazing work. I greatly look forward to hearing more and more wonderful success stories from you.

LOL... thanks! Yeah, my blog keeps me in line, too. It's funny, I started coming here just to lurk once in awhile, and I started my blog just to make some mental notes to myself about losing weight. Now I NEED the support here and also I get the sense people are rooting for me on the blog and so there is no way I can just give up, disappear and binge back up to 278. And it is spilling over into my life so much that this is now my reality and I can never go back
