I guess I will jump in too. I also need to introduce myself at the
message board.

I guess I will aim for 6lbs, would put me at 269.

I am in for 6 in 6. That sounds doable but it took me 6 weeks to lose 4 pounds the last time.......

I'm in. I'm going to try for 12 lbs by mother's day. Starting at 239.5 lbs I really like the challenges. They are very motivating for me.

I haven't done the past few challenges because I loused up the Thanksgiving one so badly. But, Ritzy, I'm glad you set this up because the Mother's Day is really special to me. Last year, Mother's Day landed on my birthday, and I decided that it was time for me to finally do something about this weight. It wasn't the first time I decided that, but I have stayed committed to it since then.

So - 15 pounds. It's ambitious, but I had really wanted to be down 100 pounds by the 1-year anniversary, but I'm thrilled to settle for 87!! (And I'm giving myself until the 14th!!!)

Linda - I'm so, so sorry to hear about your mother, especially because you two are so close.

I didn't do as well as I liked the last challenge. I'll try again with a goal of 10 pounds lost. I definitely need to push myself to track my food. I stopped doing it the beginning of March and I think that affected my loss. Plus I haven't been exercising as much as I should. Good luck and have fun everybody.

Thanks again, Ritzy, for pulling these challenges together! It really helps me to stay focused.

I'm in for 10 lbs down by Mother's Day. I'm starting at 250 (one lb short of my Easter goal), so 240 by Mother's Day. I have a week long vacation to Europe at the end of April so I know I need to be extra diligent with my food.

This is the first challenge on 3FC that I've done since I've come back to the boards, so I'm excited. I'm in for 15 pounds!

Smile I'm in for 15 lbs

I had already set myself my mini goal already earlier this week but I will join the challenge. I figured since there isn't any major holidays to play with my food plan, I can cruise right through.

good luck, everyone! Linda, I know how you feel. My mom found out she had advanced endometrical cancer and leukemia a week before Christmas. She is also diabetic. She had her first surgery on January 15th, had had numerous setbacks including 2 strokes and 2 heart attacks, and yet, today she is with us.

Every day is a blessing to have her with us as I am sure that is how you feel.

We can do it, chickies, hens and roosters too!
